- Higher grade English is equivalent
- Grade C or above in the certificate of sixth-year studies in English is equivalent

Leaving Certificate including English language. Accepted grade depends on the level the leaving cert was completed at. Higher 1-6 or A-D is accepted. Ordinary 1-4 or A-C is accepted. Foundation level is not accepted. Junior certificate is not accepted. |
